ENG : After a 20 days trek across Nepal Carrying More Than 100 kg of chocolate, multiple high passes and despite difficulties The team finally conditions Reached The Everest Base Camp is the 1st of May. The Base Camp is amazing, a true ant hill, many mountaineers. The weather is cold and they even had a short snowfall before the arrival. They had the chance to contemplate for a short time the roof of the world. After installing the tent they started talking with people around them, explaining the reason of their long walk from Kathmandu. They met alpinists and started gathering some news about the current expeditions which will be summiting the Everest. Of course the name of some famous climbers like Ed Viesturs are on all lips. The word began to spread about a Belgian team bringing chocolate from Kathmandu to support the project of a mobile hospital. Funny idea but beautiful project!
No doubt that the Base Camp and the Khumbu Ice Fall will do a perfect frame for the Highest chocolate tasting in the World.
